Personally I realized the first step (the most
tedious): find the depths.

to find the wheels that can be on right position
and thus decrease the number of combinations to
test on the bombes.
If you are lucky, you can even find the middle
wheel and why not all the wheels.
If you are very lucky, you can also find a crib
from the depths.
Finally, exceptionally, you can create a bombe
menu from the GRUND+2 and GRUND+1 alphabets.
